For 2016's Halloween event ASDA approached us to create an original, attention grabbing campaign that would ramp up the party spirit and inspire shoppers to get spooky!
Given a range of themes the client liked, one of which being 'day of the dead', I set out to create something truly unique.
Wanting to step away from traditional takes on Halloween, I fused the party feel of 'Day of the Dead' with another popular trend of the minute, 80's throwback.
Complete with neon colours, headphone clad skeletons and oversized spooky sound systems, the 'Fright Town Fiesta' had arrived.
Creating instant impact as the shopper approached the seasonal aisle was key to the success of the campaign. A larger than life 3D hanging skeleton certainly shocked!
Innovative tech overlays included holographic shelf displays featuring breakdancing skeletons and pressure activated sound effect floor graphics.
