Tonies Toys are a leading interactive toy brand which specialise in interactive story telling with children's best loved characters across multiple franchises.
We were tasked with creating some in-store displays which communicate the product benefits and ethos of the brand, namely cutting down screen time and encouraging imaginative play.
Alongside shopper education for parents the displays also explored various methods of allowing for product trialling for children, in a safe and secure way (characters had to be somehow tethered).
A secondary part to this brief was to create concepts for a brand takeover of an existing 'clock tower' permanent display in the Selfridges store.
The proposed concepts revolved around building imaginations with a 'toy workshop' or settling into the clock tower for story time.
Various security solutions were also proposed with secure, yet welcoming and playful techniques to encourage trialling, whilst keeping the character figures tethered or attached in a safe way.
